We emphasize a patient-centered approach to treatment, which begins the moment you call us on the phone and continues long after you leave our facility.
Our main facility is located in the quiet town of Ridgefield, less than 30 minutes from Vancouver, Washington, and less than one hour from Portland, Oregon. Just a few minutes from Interstate 5 and a short walk from the Columbia River, The Recovery Village is surrounded by beautiful countryside rich with vegetation.
Our team is composed of experienced physicians, board-certified staff members and industry-leading specialists trained to provide comprehensive care. All of our therapists possess master’s degrees, and most staff members possess specialized addiction certifications.
Traveling to an unfamiliar place for recovery can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Our staff can assist with the coordination of travel arrangements to ensure safe arrival and departure to and from our Ridgefield center.
We help you receive the services you need to enter, pay for and continue treatment.
You’ll have access to case management services during admissions and throughout treatment. Our case managers will assist in scheduling follow-up appointments, finding local support group meetings and developing a long-term recovery plan prior to discharge.
We accept most insurance plans and bill your insurance company directly on your behalf. We complete a utilization review process to safeguard you against unnecessary or inappropriate treatment.
We’ll refer legal resources to help you with existing legal issues. Our staff works closely with courts, probation officers and legal aids to ensure our clients comply with legal requirements.
We treat only patients ages 18 and older.
The length of treatment depends on your unique needs, treatment progress and insurance coverage. The duration is determined after an assessment, and we regularly communicate with insurance providers about treatment recommendations.
Cell phone use is not allowed during most levels of care at the facility. There is a 72-hour introduction period during which clients are prohibited from making phone calls. Afterward, phone access is allowed during non-clinical hours. During PHP and IOP levels of care, clients can access their cell phones during designated times.
You may smoke in designated areas, but you cannot smoke during therapy or wellness activities.
We have a variety of gender-specific therapy groups and groups that focus on relapse prevention.
We establish and coordinate a laundry schedule, and you’ll have access to on-site laundry facilities.
We may provide some levels of housekeeping during residential care, depending on your stage of recovery. During other phases of treatment, you’ll be encouraged to help with housekeeping and to maintain the cleanliness of your living area.
The Recovery Village offers a full continuum of care tailored to the needs of individual patients.
You’ll meet with an experienced therapist for individual therapy up to two times per week.
Our treatment plans include extensive mental health care. We’ll assess you for co-occurring mental health problems and provide treatment for co-occurring issues like anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
You’ll have access to multiple group therapy sessions every week, delivered using a strength-based approach. You’ll also receive an overview of all 12 steps during treatment.
We provide educational group sessions, called psychoeducational groups, designed to teach you about substance abuse and related behavior. Topics include the disease of addiction, relapse prevention and stress management.
We’ll help you determine the type of treatment you need to recover. You’ll receive a thorough assessment to determine the appropriate level of care for you. Our treatment programs can help you no matter what severity of addiction you have or what stage of recovery you’re in.
