SOUTH CENTRAL LOS ANGELES OUTREACH CENTERNarconon Fresh Start Drug Educator, Roger Davis, has been building bridges in the Inner City with many social betterment groups, organizations, schools and government agencies for years. After many years of working with several members of the Clergy Council of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Roger recognized the need for an Outreach Center in South Central Los Angeles to help the community overcome illiteracy, crime and drug abuse. The executive board of Narconon Fresh Start agreed that this would be a great way to support the community and they decided to fund the program and establish these services for free to the local community members within this area.
Roger Stated "This Outreach Center is here to provide social betterment programs for the often neglected community of South Central Los Angeles. We will be providing Narconon Drug Education, the The First Step Drug Withdrawal Program and Life Skills courses to the local residents near our center."
Roger is working closely with several community groups including the HOPE for Life Foundation, Power of Love Church, Victory in Christ Ministries, the Nation of Islam, The World Literacy Crusade, The Real Rider's Bicycle Association, the Moorish Science Temple of America, the Way to Happiness Foundation and Criminon. It has taken a collaborative effort to move this program forward and there are many groups within the community that are doing their part to ensure that the people of this area have the proper resources to improve their condition. Narconon Fresh Start is very happy to be part of this community effort.
